Alash - Bashtak cartoons, Live at the Quick

Www.alashensemble.com Alash leads Bashtak Joke, a comic song, which has fast-talking, a device rarely used in the oral tradition of Tuva. The lyrics play with jokes alliteration as a singer insists on its right to be stupid. This video was recorded live at the Quick Center for the Arts, Fairfield, CT, December 12, 2008. Alash appeared in the report by Bela Fleck and the Flecktones to promote the Flecktones Grammy 'winning CD "Jingle All Way". Alash appear as guest artists on the CD.Video by Sam Anderson.
